Special Guest Speaker: Lincee Ray

Lincee Ray began blogging accidentally when she wrote a recap for the beloved show everyone loves to hate — The Bachelor. Once her audience reached triple digits, she launched her website, www.iHateGreenBeans.com. What began as a place for closeted Bachelor-watchers to commune and discuss the wonder that is Our Host Chris Harrison slowly morphed into a place where Lincee shares stories of her everyday life.

In 2015, Lincee stepped away from her day job in the oil and gas industry when she landed a script writing gig for CBS.com. She continues to churn out recaps for Entertainment Weekly, as well as book reviews for The Associated Press. She also speaks to various groups of women, including business and church groups.

Lincee believes it’s important to tell your story. Everyone experiences heartache but it’s our choice to look to the Lord for hope and humor as we face each new day. Write it down. Tell your story. Even the ones that make you seem a little crazy.

Special Guest Speaker: Nancy Taylor

Nancy Taylor is a teacher, speaker and mentor to young women.  She has a passion for sharing her story of how treasuring God’s Word transformed her thinking, behavior, relationships and even her reputation. She has written a book, “Taking the Word to Heart,” in which she shares her journey of scripture memory and five practical ways to get a firm grip on God’s Word, www.provetheword.org. She encourages and teaches other women how to tell their own life transforming stories for God’s glory! Nancy coordinates a mentoring ministry at Houston’s First Baptist Church, where her husband, William, serves as the Missions Pastor.
