Meet the Team

Laura

Laura Wilcox

Laura launched Sacred Story Ministries in 2012 to come alongside women as they discover and live their God-authored stories. She also points women to God’s Word as an author, speaker, and facilitator. Her background includes over twenty years with an international mission organization, a Master of Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and serving as a corporate chaplain. Laura loves stories. She enjoys reading a classic novel by Jane Austen or watching a big screen hit like The King’s Speech. Her favorite stories, however, are the real-life ones of God’s comfort, restoration, and hope in the lives of women.

Winter Butler

Winter has a passion to inspire women to establish vision for their lives. She has professionally taught as a language arts educator, which has earned her over a decade of experience coaching students in writing. While travel, dance, and anything fun are among Winter’s favorites, nothing brings her greater joy than her first ministry as mom to her precious daughter Seven. Winter graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary and puts her degree to use by teaching at her local church. She delights in being part of the Sacred Story Ministries family, where she gets to do more of what she loves as a coach!

Renee Hansen

Renee is passionately focused on serving others through Sacred Story Ministries. The Lord has equipped her with many stories to share along her journey so that others may know they do not have to go through their struggles alone. Professionally, she leverages her marketing and sales experience from public accounting to focus on client relations through new business development and fundraising efforts. She lives in Houston with her husband and two rescue dogs, and began her career in advertising in Dallas and earned a BA in Journalism from Louisiana State University. GEAUX Tigers!
