Sacred Story’s Library of Inspiring Women’s Stories
Sister we are in this together. Our library contains encouraging stories from women who, like you, walk through chapters of questioning, grieving, loving, hoping, and surrendering. We pray you will pass on stories because hope is contagious. Our Teaching Moments offer perspective about living your story in light of God’s Word. We love to hear how you are impacted by what you read.

Steps Toward Forgiveness
"Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." (Eph. 4:31-32) As a way to end the 3 part series on forgiveness, I...
Forgiveness is (often) a One-Way Street

The Forgiveness Challenge
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Romans 12:20 Why is forgiveness so hard to give? Did you notice the word g-i-v-e right in the middle of the it? ForGIVEness is...
Forgiveness based on God’s Mercy or our Merit
“I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.” Luke 7:47 If I follow our culture’s promotion of relativism, then do I need to ask forgiveness when what I think is right clashes with what my friend...
When It’s Time to Forgive Ourselves

The Perils of Unforgiveness
"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you..." (Mt. 5:44) I recently read an article about a woman named Shaynna who enterered a funeral home and cut off the breasts, toe, locks of hair and slashed the forehead of a dead lady named Tabitha...

Warm Fuzzies

Is It Wrong to Have Longings?
“My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.” Psalm 119:20 I live in a constant state of longing. I can’t think of a time when I did not long for something. On the outside we try to appear like everything is good because we want to portray that we are...
Does God Care About What I Like?
Psalm 145:19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them “Lord, please show me again that You know what I like.” My weary heart whispered. With the majority of my things in storage I had been living with a friend...
