Sacred Story’s Library of Inspiring Women’s Stories

Sister we are in this together. Our library contains encouraging stories from women who, like you, walk through chapters of questioning, grieving, loving, hoping, and surrendering. We pray you will pass on stories because hope is contagious. Our Teaching Moments offer perspective about living your story in light of God’s Word. We love to hear how you are impacted by what you read.

Change Your Focus

"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NIV Today is my...

Picture Making an Impact

Yes, God gives you more than you can handle

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” 1 Cor. 10:13 For years we have all...

“The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God’. They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.” (Psalm 14:1) In my counseling practice, people would often come into the office asking me how to deal with a person - friend, husband, co-worker,...

Trumping Temptation

I Wanted to Let it All Go

"I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord, my God, I called to you for help and you healed me."                 Psalm 30:1-2 I wanted to let go of everything I stood for. That included over a decade of...
